Little Biddy Gin
Created in honour of Reefton legend Little Biddy, a gin-toting, 4 foot tall goldminer. Our search for native botanicals takes us deep into the same West Coast rainforest where Biddy once fossicked for gold, to craft a uniquely New Zealand gin with a pioneer’s attitude.

We are a proud West Coast business, crafting international award winning spirits and fruit liqueurs from the abundant rainfall and lush native rainforest surrounding our distillery.
We were keen to create a business to help revitalise Reefton and explored many ideas, with the distillery the one that we kept coming back to. We wanted to create a business that Reefton would be proud of. The support of the Reefton community has played a huge part in our success.
A STORY OF ADVENTURE
Moonlight Creek Whisky
George Fairweather Moonlight was a legendary gold prospector and discovered New Zealand’s largest gold nugget, at the time, at Moonlight Creek. Like Moonlight, we don’t seek to follow the crowds. Reefton is an unlikely place to make whisky, but here we have found the key ingredient in abundance. Moonlight Creek is a source of pristine water, located just 40 minutes from Reefton Distilling Co.
