Lachie joined us as Chief Executive in May
2026, bringing over 15 years of beverage
industry experience, including commercial
and GM roles at Lion and craft-beer supplier
Hop Revolution, where he sold to major
international beverage brands.

He previously served as CFO at Pic's Peanut
Butter, steering the business through a
period of strong national growth and leading
a significant investment transaction.

A Chartered Accountant (Lincoln University),
he also spent close to a decade in finance
roles across Melbourne and the UK.

PATSY BASS
Founder and GM Marketing

Patsy established Reefton Distilling Co. in
2017 with an inspiring 100 year founding
vision and strategy for the company.

Patsy led the successful launch of globally
awarded product lines (Little Biddy, Wild
Rain, Reefton Distilling Co., Moonlight Creek,
Gold Seeker Rye and our Little Biddy RTD
range). Little Biddy became the fastest
growing super premium NZ Gin brand in
NZ in successive years.

Patsy is a beneficial shareholder
of Reefton Distilling Co.

NICK SECKER
Distillery Manager

Nick has lived and worked on the West
Coast all his life, and grew up in the
rainforest surrounding Reefton Distilling Co.

B Sc. (Major: Botany; Minor: Zoology),
PGDipSci (Botany, awarded with distinction)
from the University of Otago; WSET UK
Level 2 (Spirits); and currently undertaking
the International Brewing and Distilling
Diploma (Distilling).

Nick joined the company in 2018 as our first
distiller, and following a brief gap when he
left to run his family’s hospitality business,
Nick remained as a brand ambassador before returning in 2025 to lead our production team, and new product development.

CLARK WHITE
Sales and Brand Manager

Clark has a 25+ year career in liquor industry sales and marketing. Roles encompassing the breadth of the sector, from managing bars, to distribution and in-house sales strategy and management, across the UK, Australia and New Zealand, for companies like Campari, Hancocks, DB and Pernod.

AMELIE TURCOTTE
Guest Experience Manager

Amelie has extensive hospitality experience
and event management experience in New
Zealand and Canada.

Responsible for our Cellar Door and online
store, and ensuring the customer experience is one that creates dedicated fans.
