A spicy grilled orange gimlet, a nod to the classic gimlet. Add cinnamon, nutmeg and star anise for another dimension in your grilled orange syrup. Slightly spiced but fresh and well balanced.
60ml Little Biddy Gin - Classic
20ml Grilled orange syrup
30ml Fresh lime juice
2 dashes Cardamom bitters.
Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker, add Ice and shake well.
Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Grilled orange syrup:
Add 50:50 sugar and water to a pan then heat to dissolve sugar. Add 1 or 2 oranges to a grill to char them. Once charred, add oranges to sugar syrup and heat to extract the flavour.
