Reefton Distilling Co. offer a selection of small batch, slow macerated fruit liqueurs that capture all the luscious nostalgia of fresh New Zealand fruit in a single bottle. Sweet, but not too sweet, these richly coloured liqueurs overflow with pure fruit flavour and concentrated joy.

Local spray-free West Coast Tayberries are set to steep in our Wild Rain Vodka before being strained, and infused with Rata honey, cloves and fresh Lemon peel.

Serving Suggestion:  Delicious mixed with soda or Prosecco, poured neat over ice, or added in generous splashes to our Little Biddy Gin and Champagne cocktails.

Note: this is a natural product therefore some sediment may form over time from the fresh fruit.

Botanicals

Tayberries

A cultivar in the genus Robus of the family Rasaceae patented in 1979 as a cross between a red raspberry and a blackberry. The Tayberry is named after the River Tay in Scotland. The fruit is sweeter, much larger and more aromatic than that of it’s cousin, the more commonly known Loganberry.

Rata Honey

Harvested from native New Zealand Rata, a large tree with a distinctive crimson flower, found in the remote rainforests of the New Zealand’s South Island West Coast. This silky smooth honey, with its buttery texture and fruity finish, is one of the finest in the world.
